Through working with the young women we've met, through the consultation we've had with mental health professionals who support Orange Daisy Project, and through the experience of members of our Orange Daisy Team who live with mental illness, we've learned that it can be hard to eat well, exercise, and participate in activities when you are living with mental illness. We've also learned that mental health can be enhanced greatly by eating well, exercising, and doing fun things - even little things.
Our Pinterest board was built to offer a little boost. We have included exercise ideas you can do for free, because not everyone can afford a gym membership (and not everyone wants to go to the gym). If you have questions or concerns about exercise, please talk to your doctor.
We have also included quotable quotes, healthy recipes, fun DIY projects, and pictures of cute hedgehogs.
