ORANGE DAISY PROJECT

Associate Producer, Editor

GINGER DILK

Ginger is an emerging filmmaker who has been working in the Winnipeg film and television industry since 2013. She will graduate from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Filmmaking, late 2017. Ginger writes, directs and edits her own films, which have been officially selected to screen at the University of Winnipeg’s annual film festival. She also works as a Researcher for Eagle Vision’s national television series Taken (APTN/CBC), a docudrama about Canada’s Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (takentheseries.com).

Aside from her media work, Ginger has also competed in equestrian sports for over a decade. She currently trains with internationally recognized coaches and riders and, for a number of years, has shared her skills volunteering with the local Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association for at-risk youth, The Urban Stable.

Ginger will continue honing her skills as a writer, director, editor and competitive athlete as she pursues both sport and art in her future.

Ginger has worked on Orange Daisy Project tirelessly to connect documentary subjects, transcribe all 40 short films, and do the subtitles for each to maximize accessibility. With her tremendous skill set, work ethic, and generosity, Ginger will go far in film, and beyond.
